how does the design process work?
It's simple! Kids (with parental approval) choose their favorite themes, colors, characters, and elements. We will meet with you and your children to discuss your ideas. We encourage kids to add their own sketches and ideas to the collaboration. After that, we take care of the rest, turning their ideas into a high-quality mural that's sure to enjoy. We will present our mock-ups for approval and once approved, work will begin on painting the mural.
does my child have to participate? or can we give the artist free range?
Kids don’t have to be the ones to come up with the ideas—parents can be the creative masterminds too! Whether you're preparing for a new baby and need a nursery theme, you know your child’s interests and want to create something special, or you’d rather leave it to our artists to craft a design based on your vision, we’ve got you covered!
what size are the murals?
How big do you want it? Our murals come in various sizes to fit your space. You can choose the dimensions based on your child's room, and we'll help make sure the design fits your walls.

At Wallsome, every mural is as unique as the child it’s designed for! Since each project varies in size, complexity, and style, we prefer to offer a personalized quote based on your specific needs. After we discuss your vision and space, we’ll provide an accurate price tailored to your project. We’re all about creating something special, and that means every mural gets the attention it deserves!
how long does it take to complete a mural?
The timeline varies depending on the size and complexity of the mural. On average, most projects take anywhere from 3 to 7 days. We’ll give you a clear estimate once we finalize the design and schedule!
how to prepare for your mural
Clear the Space
Make room for creativity! Move furniture (out of the room if possible-but a minimum of 5-6′ clearance), decorations, expensive and fragile items away from the mural area to give our artists full access.
Plan for the Process
Murals take time! Consider:
- How long the project might take (we’ll give you an estimate).
- Paint Preparation/Setup
- Possible Noise (Airbrush compressors or ventilation fans)
- Possible paint odors & fumes.
- Ventilation may require a nearby window to be open.
Keep Pets Safe & Secure
We love furry friends, but to prevent accidental paw prints or disruptions, please keep pets contained or in another room while we work. This ensures their safety and helps us focus on creating your mural.
Home Access & Presence
- If No One Will Be Home: Please arrange access in advance (e.g., a key, code, or trusted neighbor). We’ll treat your space with the utmost care. We will schedule work times in advance to ensure you are always aware of when we will be in your home.
- If Someone Will Be Home: A parent or guardian must be present if any children under the age of 18 are around. This ensures peace of mind for our parents and guardians, safety and also allows for any quick design approvals.
